Auction and Bake Sale
Welcome to I Walk In This World’s Auction and Bake Sale, to raise funds to fight cancer via my friend Beth’s team walk in the Jimmy Fund Walk!
Since it’s founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has supported the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, helping to raise the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world.
Click here to read my story and why I care.
The Auction and Bake Sale begins today at 10am. It will go until 5pm EST Wednesday evening, April 22. If any items remain beyond that, they will remain available for bidding until sold.
To place an official bid, you e-mail me at esavearth [at] gmail [dot] com with a bid of what you would like to purchase. Please be very specific about which item you are bidding on. A minimum bid of $10 is the very lovingly-suggested starting price.
Bids left in the Comments section of this blog will not be counted.
This will function as a silent auction. Throughout the day, as time permits, I will post an update with the highest bids per item. If you see that your bid has been outbid, email me a higher bid or suffer your loss!
Any tied bids at the close of auction/bake sale will be determined via names drawn out of a hat.
I will notify each winner by email, and post the winning bids on my site.
If you get an email from me notifying that you are a winner, you have 24 hours to donate your bid amount to Beth’s Donation Page. If in that time frame the donation is not made, the next highest bidder will be contacted or the item will go back up for bid.
Be sure to indicate what you have won in the comments section on the donation page.
Once the donation goes through I will provide the winner’s address to each donor/baker, and it will be their kind responsibility to send the winnings to you.
Due to limitations on postage costs, we have to limit this auction/bake sale to U.S. Residents.
