I ran
Hi kids.
GIVEAWAY! See bottom of this post for the link to the mondo giveaway I’m hosting. 10 Prizes will be won and Dr. Kracker goodies are up for grabs.
I need to brag. I ran for 20 mintues today, at level 5! It ended up being 1.5 miles on the treadmill and I felt like I coulda kept going. It’s the FIRST time in my life I didn’t hate running. It’s cuz I tried something new. I did power walking for 2 mins to warm up. Then I started jogging s-l-o-w-l-y for a while. Every few minutes I upped the treadmill speed as my heart race increased, and after a while I was chugging along at a full run (for me). It was so exciting.
Then I did 10mins heavy hiking and 10mins of arms + dumbells.
Yay for Exercise.
I just made a fun new Din in an attempt to use up the Quantities of Kale we have in the fridge (otherwise known as Evil by the hubz). Introducing Tuna + Kale casserole.

There also was a salad (cuz I’m the salad queen).

Oh. Wait. What’s that?

For dinner…
- Tuna + Kale casserole
- spinach salad with carrot + maters + goat cheese + cranberries + crouton + almonds + lf rasp/walnut dres
- a glass (2) of Sauvignon blanc
So. It’s humid. I feel like I’m breathing thru a wet washcloth. It’s awesome. This has, hands down, been the worst most awesome Spring ever. If anyone has seen my inhalor, toss it on over here. Cuz Erin can’t breathe.
For those of you unfamiliar with sarcasm, please see my previous sentence.
Work. Work keeps me busy. What else can I say. I don’t like to talk about work cuz I like to leave work at work. How many more times can I type the word work?
Work.
My Arvo snack was half a blueberry OIKOS with crumbled streusal muffin bits on top (great!) + a banana with cinnamon pecan nut butter.

Lunch today was standard and great.

On Mr. Stripey…
- turkey + American + lettuce + pepper on whole grain bread
- carrot
- the last of my berries (tear)
- 1 of Beth’s rockstar brownies
All eaten whilst discussing the mysteries of LOST with my coworkers. Everyone at work makes fun of me for taking pictures of my food before I eat it. What? Like that’s weird or something?
Hey. Did y’all see the GIVEAWAY that I’m hosting. It’s a Good One (note the capital letters). If you like whole grain, organic foods, for FREE, click, read & enter.
Nite!

I ran in my first 5k over the weekend - and it felt awesome! (Granted, I didn’t break any speed records, but that wasn’t the point!)

That glass of wine looks so appealing to me right now! I don’t know what it is, maybe because it looks so nice and chilled. Love it.
