Holy Bread Overload
Hi blog friends!
Now that wedding shower prep and planning is finished, I hope to get back to being a regularly-scheduled food blogger again.
Anyone miss me? LOL!
We had some leftovers from the wedding shower, mostly in the form of croissant, pastry, and bread.
Dear lord help me to resist all these beautiful French carbs…
…and clearly, Monday was a big fat fail at that, lol!
Breks was pain au chocolate with coffee and a camera shy banana.
Some morning Hillary sunshine.
Lunch was carved ham and cheese on baguette and a clementine.
And Din was a broccoli, red pepper, and ham strata. It was delicious and CHOCK full of bread. Some green beaners and watermelon on the side. And camera shy vanilla cookies late at night that I should NOT have eaten.

A giant salad needs to find it’s way into my tummy asap.
I took a mental health day Monday. Much needed and enjoyed! I caught up on some finances, did some cooking, and went for a run along the river with Hubz. Let’s talk about running along the river. It’s beautiful and calming and inspiring. And full of mosquitoes that bit the shitoutof me. I kid you not. I have so many bites I feel like I have chicken pox.
Not fun.
While walking Hillary last night, I found this guy. Anyone want to guess what he is??

Let’s talk Marathon bread.

My local Wegmans bakes this and it is A.May.Zing. It stays moist and chewy unlike most whole grain breads. I pretty much do my shopping at that store JUST to buy this bread.
So. Work is way busy and I gotta get back to it. And I’m not sure how I’ll last the afternoon. I had yet another sleepless night. I managed about 4 hours….I think.

Because I reward myself with food sometimes (bad) I let myself have waffles for breks. And they were fab.

Thanks for all your shin splint advice yesterday! It sounds like I need to get fitted for the right sneaks. Now, where does one do this?
