The reality is that only around 15 percent of daily calorie intake should come from protein. This means for most of us eating a 2000 a day diet, we only need around 300 calories worth of protein…There are many options that contain the same amino acids that you can find in animal protein. That breakfast sammich kept me full all morning.  I made myself eat lunch at 12:30pm despite barely even being hungry.  Holla.

Lunch was great.  Leftover creamy veggie soup (with curry) from last night’s dinner.

  • 2 small squares Green & Blacks organic espresso chocolate
  • (In the cheapie bowl), leftover soup

    You look mucho serious in that picture!!!

    I’ve read that vegetarians consume about twice as much protein as they actually need and omnivores, well they consume a lot more than that. I try to keep my servings of meat and meat alternatives to the recommended two a day!
