Which One of Us

One of us got our hair cut, styled, and did up last night.

One of us didn’t.

Can you tell?

I’m tired of my regular style and got my stylist to shag it up and give me some bangs.  LOVE it.  I was so worried I’d have trouble finding a good stylist in my new city.  But my girl Michaela rocks it out and is the best stylist I’ve had since living in Philly.

<——–lucky girl

Anyway.  Enough self-love.

I got new sneaks, did I tell you guys?  I got some bday $$ last month and used it to get some much-needed new sneakers.  My last pair I’d had since 2006.  No lie.

I’m an under-pronator and these shoes are super for that.  Plus.  Adidas is my boo.  Forever.

New.

Old.

Yes.

I am aware that I am a FREAK about how good these shoes look after 4 years.  But I don’t do trail running and I avoid puddles when running outdoors.  The heels were totally compacted and offering me limited support for my busted out ankle that I still haven’t seen a doctor about (since I hurt it in June).

So…

;)

There’s no food pics today, I just realized.

Woops.

What shoe brand are you loyal too?

Lauren @ Eater not a runner says:

I can only wear New Balance because I have freakishly-wide feet. Love the new do by the way!

love the hair cut! and now I know how you feel about taking a ridiculous amount of pictures of your dog :) we’re doing the same thing with ours!

You look great!! I love the cut :) I’m really loyal to apple/mac… but if you’re talkin about running shoes, I’d have to say Saucony :)

BROOKS for life! Love those shoes. And I love your new do!

Love your haircut! It looks fantastic on you!
I’m an Asics girl all the way. It used to get me into fights with my dad who was pretty loyal to Brooks (until he got some Asics as well. Muahahahahaha).

Nice! A cut is such a fun way to shake things up — thanks for the reminder that I desperately need one.

I’m not loyal to any one brand but have a hard time finding good-fitting shoes bc of my narrow feet. New Balance work out pretty well…

    Kara (@ Kara's Marathon) says:

Great cut!! It suits you :)

I’m a Brooks girl all the way — I’m a bit of a supinator, and their neutral shoes are awesome for me.

    Mama Pea says:

Love your hair! Guess yesterday was just the day for rockin’ makeovers.

I am obsessed with Adidas for ALL of my athletic wear. Wanna be jealous? One of my best friends does digital media PR for Adidas and gives me samples. I get 50% off at the employee store and free Adidas that hasn’t hit the stores yet…woot woot!!! Pea Daddy is trying to get free Star Wars shoes. I’m looking for a good divorce attorney.

I’ve been an Asics devotee, but got my first pair of Brooks a month ago, and am loving them!

    Wade says:

Cute Hillary. Beautiful hair cut. Freakishly (and somewhat scary) clean 4-year-old shoes.

I’m partial to New Balance, Sebago, and Reef. And I just realized that I beat the poop out of my shoes fairly quickly.

    Marianne says:

I don’t even want to admit how long I tend to keep running shoes. Or any item of clothing in general. Which is why my wardrobe is beyond pathetic.

And I can’t say I’m loyal to any shoe brand really. In the past…10 years? I’ve had two pairs of New Balance and a pair of Mizunos. So New Balance wins out, but 3 pairs of shoes hardly makes for a reliable sample size.

    Christina says:

    Love the new haircut!

I’m not really loyal to any shoe brand, although most of my sneakers are Nike. I really want to get a pair of Asics!

I am a loyal Asics fan!

    Katie says:

Love the new do and the new sneaks!

I’m pretty loyal to Saucony for my running shoes. “Street” sneakers I’m all over the place though I do adore my Pumas most.

    Jenny says:

Love the bangs! Your hair looks great :)

I’ve been wearing Nikes for the past few years. I have really narrow feet and they seem to do a good job of fitting them…I contemplate other brands but then I think, if it ain’t broke…

    Nutritious Foodie says:

I can’t say I am loyal to one brand. I usually try a bunch of different ones and get the one that fits and feels the best.

I’m total fan of nike shoes! tried once with Adidas… didn’t convert me at all :D
